How to approach it
Rebuild the inventory from memory before writing anything down, grouping candidates by aisle: fresh produce, bakery, prepared dishes, drinks, animal protein, preserved goods, sweets. Most players stop at the four or five items they see daily, so deliberately sweep the sections you have not touched yet. For each candidate ask two questions: does this exact thing have its own standalone pictogram, and would a stranger accept it as something to eat or drink? Discard anything that is only part of a larger picture, any equipment, and any item you merely suspect exists. From the survivors, choose the one you are most confident about but that a casual player would not think of; confidence matters more than obscurity, because a wrong guess scores nothing while an unusual right answer scores the maximum.
Get a hint
Start from the whole inventory rather than from your usual shopping list: the set covers fresh produce, baked goods, prepared dishes, preserved items, drinks and animal protein in roughly equal measure.
A little more
Then work section by section and push past the handful everyone names, because the middle of the list is crowded with regional plates, festive specialities and hot or iced drinks that players forget.
One step further
The richest seam is the long tail: street snacks, preserved goods, offal and unusual proteins, and anything served from a vessel that pours — entries so rarely typed that landing one lifts the score.

Why these answers count
Scoring follows a straightforward popularity curve, and the reveal makes the shape plain: ninety-six answers reached the top band, yet only one of them touched the ceiling. Staples that come to mind instantly — Avocado, Bacon, Croissant, Cupcake, all at sixty — cluster at the bottom of that band because thousands of players converge on the same handful of everyday pictograms and the points get shared out accordingly. The eighty-five tier is where recall starts to pay: Bento, Falafel, Tamale, Fugu, Rice ball and Fish cake are perfectly ordinary entries in the set, but they sit outside most shoppers' first ten thoughts, so far fewer people name them. The lone hundred-point answer, Oden, is a winter hotpot that is unmissable to some players and invisible to nearly everyone else, which is exactly why it tops the scale. Rarity, not correctness alone, moves the score.
