How to approach it
The productive route is to walk the emoji keyboard methodically rather than brainstorm at random. Open the food-and-drink section and read it slot by slot, writing down every entry you recognise, then repeat the pass from memory with the keyboard closed; whatever still surfaces unaided is what a large crowd will also reach, so treat it as your safe floor. After that, widen the net by families rather than by examples: raw ingredients, finished plates, baked goods, preserves, sweet items, hot drinks, cold drinks and alcoholic ones. Each family usually shakes loose two or three entries you skipped. Finish with a deliberate sweep of the odd corners, meaning regional cooking, offal, game and anything you have only ever seen in that keyboard.
Get a hint
Start with the section of the emoji keyboard most people scroll past without reading: nearly every row there is a candidate, so your first job is simply to recall how wide that section is.
A little more
Once you have a rough list, sort it by how each entry is drawn: some are single ingredients, some are finished plates, some are drinks already served, and a few show a container with the food still inside.
One step further
Then work the boundary cases that separate a strong answer from a common one: regional specialities, unusual cuts and less obvious drinks sit in the same set as the staples everyone names first.

Why these answers count
Scoring here tracks rarity of retrieval rather than obscurity for its own sake. One hundred and fifty-three answers were accepted, and the ninety-six that reached sixty points or more were almost all entries a player can see in the keyboard but rarely thinks to name. The single hundred-point answer sits alone at the top because almost nobody volunteers it; the thirty-seven answers on eighty-five points are the keyboard's quiet residents — Oden, Fugu, Tamale, Dango, Falafel, Moon cake, Rice cracker, Shaved ice — dishes and preparations that are unmistakably drawn yet fall outside a first mental sweep. Sixty points covers the recognisable but crowded tier: Bacon, Bagel, Avocado, Butter, Corn, Crab, Cocktail and Bubble tea, all easy to picture and therefore easy for a large crowd to reach. Frequency of mention decides everything, so the more obvious the entry, the lower it lands, and walking the whole set instead of free-associating is what separates a high total from a safe one.
