Answer Checker Guide - Spelling, Matches & Points
Updated 2026-10-04 · Krillion Answers
Unsure of a spelling or its points? The answer checker can confirm that a spelling appears in a selected dated question record and show its recorded points. It does not submit the answer to krillion.io, predict a live score or prove that an absent answer is invalid.
Pick the right record
Select the Daily Dive and the question you actually mean. A matching name in a different question is not a valid comparison. The same word can occur in several editions, so the date and prompt beside the result are part of the answer.
What spelling normalisation does
The lookup ignores case, removes accent marks and treats punctuation as word boundaries. For example, the October 3, 2026 sausage record includes Landjäger; landjager is the corresponding accent-normalised spelling. Replacing a separator with a space can match, but joining two words into one is not the same normalised text.
The page’s “Check this example” button uses a name that is actually present in its selected record. It is a convenient way to see a successful result before trying your own spelling.
Read both outcomes carefully
“Found in this dated record” means the stored name matched after normalisation. The shown points belong to that date and question. “Not found in this recorded set” means only that the lookup did not find it here. A historical selection can omit a perfectly relevant name; a published record can also change.
Suggestions are related recorded spellings, not newly generated answers. If you remember only a fragment, the solver is usually a better starting point.
Privacy and corrections
Your typed answer goes to this site’s lookup endpoint, not to the official game or an AI provider. Optional analytics excludes the typed text. See the privacy policy. If a dated entry seems wrong, report its date, exact prompt and source through Contact & Corrections.
