Answer Records Explained - Dates, Sources & Limits
Updated 2026-10-04 · Krillion Answers
Before relying on a pick, check its question, date and source. A record here contains a question, a game date, a set of names and the points reported for those names. It is not a promise that the original game will accept every spelling, nor proof that a missing name is invalid. Source and coverage labels explain what the record can support.
Published records
The current capture checks the publisher’s public date and question text against its dated reveal. It validates seven distinct question IDs, non-empty answer names and supported score–tier combinations before saving a new edition. The publisher’s answer jokes and interface are not imported.
These are automated consistency checks. They do not mean an editor manually submitted thousands of names to the live game. The original publisher decides live acceptance and scoring.
Historical selections
The initial older editions contain a selection from linked public archives. They are labelled secondary historical selections and do not pretend to be complete published reveals. Their reported points have not been independently checked against the game’s restricted historical reveal.
Source check versus content change
A “Checked” timestamp records a retrieval or consistency check. It is not automatically a content-change timestamp. A new date or a genuine change in question or answer facts can update a stored record; repeatedly checking the same facts does not make them newly written.
What this companion contributes
Question guidance, gradual hints, normalised spelling lookup, point filters, dated navigation, browser-local saves and recall practice help users work with the record. The coverage statistics describe our stored material instead of guessing live player popularity.
