How to approach it
Work from the exchange-rate board rather than from memory of currency names. Mentally sort the world into strong-quotation and weak-quotation camps: a handful of units sit above the benchmark, a large middle band clusters not far below it, and a long tail trades in the hundreds, thousands or millions per unit. Choose the band you can actually enumerate, then write down every name you can recall from that band before judging any of them. Spelling matters less than recognisability, but an answer that is unmistakably one country's official tender beats a vague or informal label. If two candidates feel equally good, prefer the one more players are likely to have typed, then stop: scoring rewards being inside the crowd, not being clever.
Get a hint
Start with the geography of money: most of the world's monetary units are quoted far below the benchmark, so the field is wide open and the real difficulty lies in picking one you can name without hesitating.
A little more
Narrow the map by continent, then by the size and openness of each economy — small, import-heavy or devaluation-prone economies tend to quote their units at hundreds or thousands per benchmark unit.
One step further
Recall the units whose names describe a weight of metal or a fraction of some older coin, and the ones that became separate tenders only after a recent redenomination; that vocabulary is what the reveal rewards.

Why these answers count
The reveal is enormous — 145 recorded answers — and it is dominated by a single tier: 107 answers landed at 85 points, with only one at 100 and 19 at 60. That shape tells you the crowd converged almost instantly. Any recognised national tender quoted well below the benchmark scored the standard 85, from the Afghan afghani and the Albanian lek through to the Malawian kwacha; naming one of those was enough to be safely inside the majority. Reaching 100 required the outlier: Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG), a very recent unit that few players thought to type, so it stood alone at the top. The 60-point band is where answers were real but less familiar or less cleanly named, still counted yet shared by far fewer players. Rarer picks earn more because scoring compares your answer with everyone else's, so the moment a currency is obvious to the whole room its value collapses to the floor of the top tier.
