Solver Guide - Find Answers by Question & Points
Updated 2026-10-04 · Krillion Answers
Remember part of a name or want a higher-point pick? The Krillion solver searches an existing dated answer record. Choose a Daily Dive, choose the exact question, enter part of a name and optionally set a minimum point value. It filters recorded names; it does not invent a new answer or calculate the live game’s score.
Choose the date before the word
Start with the dive date displayed in the original game. Changing the date loads that edition’s questions. Check the question selector again: question 01 on one date is not necessarily the same subject as question 01 on another date. The source note below the results follows the chosen date.
Search a short, distinctive part
For the October 3, 2026 TV-genre record, a search for comedy finds recorded names containing that word. A shorter query is useful when you remember only part of a spelling. The search normalises case, accents and punctuation boundaries, but it is still a text lookup, not a synonym generator.
An empty query lists the selected question’s recorded answers. “Load more answers” continues that result set. If a restrictive query produces no matches, try a shorter spelling or a lower point filter. A missing result is not evidence that the original game would reject the answer.
Use points as a filter
The minimum-points selector compares the values stored in that question’s record. Selecting 100 returns only recorded 100-point rows. Selecting 85 or above can also include 100-point rows. A filter does not transfer an older score into a new question or prove that an unlisted name has a particular rarity.
Read the coverage label
Historical selections are deliberately incomplete. An empty search in one of those editions can simply mean the imported selection did not include the name. See what a record means and use the linked source when comparing points.
Use the answer checker for an exact normalised spelling comparison. The solver is better for browsing a category or remembering a partial name.
